Born To Loose Live To Win - Swiss Version

The phrase "Born to Lose, Live to Win" is strongly associated with Lemmy Kilmister of Motörhead, but he didn't exactly create it. The phrase "Born to Lose" has roots that predate Lemmy, especially in the outlaw and rebel subcultures. For example, it was famously tattooed on Johnny Thunders of the New York Dolls and used in the early 1950s biker culture.

However, Lemmy popularised and immortalised the phrase "Born to Lose, Live to Win". He used it as a personal motto and lyric in Motörhead's music, giving it a new life. 

So, while Lemmy didn't create it, he certainly made it his own and helped embed it more prominently in the biker and rock world.
